Well, I ended up putting it down for awhile, then made mistakes, had to rip out all 10 rows of 126 stitches and start over way behind schedule.
And now I'm on my way but racing against the due date of the baby that it is for! Early September a niece is coming and I really want this ready but... I keep hitting road blocks. The first 10 rows of Seed/Moss stitch were impossible! But now in the centre pattern I am able to knit without the worry of "where the *bleep!* did I leave off?". Cause with a toddler and an infant you now I will have to drop it at any moment.
I'm LOVING the colours.
The blanket is in quadrants. Maybe the photos below will show you what I mean.
But I have messed up the Moss stitch coming up the one side too. But just one side is cursed. The other half has had no errors, so the 'wrong side' has to be forgiven once this is done because its just causing me so much grief! I stopped ripping out the mistakes. The Moss stitch is just not Mossy sometimes. Oh well.
The upper mustard colour is my Moss stitch gone bad. Lower mustard colour = good. |
Look at those yummy colours! |
Oh the joys of knitting ! ..your right about the colours, very nice indeed :)
